This timeless classic has a special place in my heart. Year after year I would ask for a Strawberry Shortcake for my birthday. I've tried countless Strawberry cakes over the years in different parts of the globe. This year on my birthday I made my own Strawberries & Cream cake. One with a delicate twist to the classic. 

Pillowy soft vanilla sponge filled with fresh strawberries and a luscious whipped cream. Oh so light and oh so delicious. This one ate its way to my heart and it will yours too. An all-time favorite that never disappoints.
